QEB ropes in Pintu & Ambekar

Versatile winger and striker Pintu Mahata and Abhishek Ambekar the left back with a solid right foot have both signed multi year contracts with Quess East Bengal FC.

Pintu Mahata signed for a period of 3 years and while Abhishek Ambekar inked 2 years contract.

Pintu is a young attacker known for his speed who scored on his debut in the Kolkata Derby while Abhishek Ambekar was a key player for Minerva Punjab FC in their 2017 I-League championship season.

QEBFC (U-19) thrashed Chandannagar Champions by 6-1 in the Group B match of Zee Bangla Football League played today afternoon at East Bengal ground.

Dip Saha (14'; 21') & Manichand Singh (33'; 37') scored a brace each while Srrikumar Karjee (16') and Subhonil Ghosh (60') scored one each for Quess East Bengal. Jagannath Jana (46') scored the lone goal for Chandannagar Champions.

Boithang Haokip joins QEB

QEB is pleased to announce the signing of a utility player, Boithang Haokip from the current ISL Champions JSW Bengaluru FC.

Boithang started his career at Shillong Lajong's academy and is now all set to join the red & gold brigade having signed a 3 year contract. The 28 year old versatile footballer played a key role in the several appearances he made for JSW Bengaluru on road to winning the Super Cup in 2018 as well the ISL trophy in 2018-19.

“I am feeling great to be part of QEBFC and one of the Club that I have a dream to play since I have started my football career and also looking forward to do or give my best for the club and the fans,” said Boithang Haokip.
Carlos Nodar extends contract

QEB is delighted to announce the contract renewal of Assistant Coach and Physical Trainer Carlos Nodar Paz, fondly called ‘Water’ by the players.

Carlos played a key role in the last season as part of Coach Alejandro’s coaching team and was instrumental in dramatically improving the fitness level, positivity and tenacity of the entire squad. The contract with Carlos has been extended by 2 years.
