East Bengal run away as the winners yet again! East Bengal win the IFA Shield 4-2 on penalties.

Although Mohun Bagan's Sourav Das (47') opened the scoring, they could not maintain their lead as keeper Asanja Daimary's howler in front of goal (84') let in Dip Saha's long ranger.

Both sides failed to find a winner after 120 minutes of play and the match proceeded to a penalty shoot-out.

Bagan missed the first two attempts whereas East Bengal made their chances count. It was Saha who converted the winning tie-breaker, tilting the result towards East Bengal.
